LOL/Of Mice and Men

Hey I know I haven't posted here in months but I thought it would be a good idea to start now. So I have built an amazing gaming PC and I could not be happier.

Here are the specs for you techies:

3.4 Ghz Processor- Intel core I5 3rd generation processor

16 GB of RAM by Corsair

1 TB HDD

126 GB SSD

2 GB "Gigabyte" Nvidia GTX 670 graphic card

21.5" inch monitor

The really cool part was that I also got Assassins Creed 3 as a free download for buying that specific graphic card (the game did not factor in to the decision, I found out about the game after the purchase).

The game that I am  playing most right now is the increasingly popular League Of Legends. For those of you who know the game, I am main top lane, with characters like Shen, and Irellia. I am also quite good at Jungling with nocturne and my Miss Fortune ADC is getting better.

NOW ONTO MUSIC

One band that I have started listening to recently is "Of Mice and Men". More specifically their new album "The Flood". Some songs you should definitely listen to are , O.G. Loko, Ben Threw, Let Live, and Still YDG'n.

This band is a post hardcore group and they really have great rhythm, breakdowns, and the main vocalist is really good, even when live.

Thanks for reading the post and feel to tell me what bands and games you like in the comments section

Hi there, Nalin here again with another blog for "a Gamer with Rhythm". One of the video games I have been playing a lot of recently is Diaablo 3 on the PC/MAC. It is a fun RPG (role playing game), where you can select a character, level him/her up, find items, an battle enormous demonic hordes. It is the sequel to the Diablo 2 which came out 12 year ago, where it recieved huge praise and appreciation form fans and critics. Anyone who has played diablo 1 or 2 should get this game, if video games still suits your fancy.

Now onto the music. I have recently come across a fairly new band on the metal scene, and for anyone who likes technical metal (like Protest the Hero, or the Human Abstract) this is definitely a band you should check out. Instrumentally they are an amazing band, the guitarists are both pursuing music majors, and the bass and drums are fantastic. the vocal are unique to say the least, and may be the one thing in the album that a listener might have to get adjusted to.

Take my word for it, once you listen to the album at least twice it will definitely hold your interest for a while.

Here is a song for you to check out by Art by Numbers : Art by Numbers: Venice is Sinking

Enjoy, and appreciate life.

Hi There,

Nalin here and this is my first time blogging, ever. I am a college student and as you may have guessed i love video games, and playing music. My back ground in relation to these 2 topics are as follows: I own a Xbox 360, PS3, and a good Hp pavilion dv6 laptop. Some of the games that i own are; God Of war, Uncharted, Halo, Mass Effect, League of Legends, and Diablo 3  My musical background started when i was 16 and i decided to learn how to play bass (bass guitar), since then i have been part of 2 bands and I am looking to make another one. My musical interests revolve mainly around the rock genre but I can appreciate anything that has musicians playing instruments. Specific bands that I love listening to are; Protest The Hero, August Burns Red, and some classic rock too like Guns N' Roses, and Bon Jovi.

So this is my first blog post so far and in the coming weeks I will be getting into specific game and music titles that i have discovered and i will be discussing them here.

Here is a link to song i am currently very fond of, enjoy: Bon Jovi- Wanted Dead or Alive
